Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Classes
The Fire Department in conjunction with Leisure Services offers classes in CPR. These are American Heart Association "Heartsaver" classes covering Adult, Child, and Infant CPR.
The Heartsaver course is designed for the non-health care professional who may need to respond to aid someone in the home, workplace or for anyone wanting to learn CPR.

Smoke Detector Program
The Fire Department offers a free smoke detector and/or battery
replacement program for citizens of Safety Harbor. If you cannot afford
one, please contact the on-duty DC at 727-724-1520.
The department offers free pool safety inspections and helpful hints
for all homes in Safety Harbor. For an appointment, contact the on duty
DC at 727-724-1520.
The department offers free blood pressure checks to all citizens.
Simply stop by either station and we will be glad to check your BP.
Safety Harbor Fire Explorers
The Fire Explorers are a post that meets every Monday night from 6 to 8
p.m. at Station 53 and consist of an age group of 14 to 21. The
explorers learn what firefighters, EMTs and paramedics do. Please email Post Adviser Charles Russell.
