The days are getting shorter, but your Safety Harbor Public Library is getting busier!

Youth (ages 0-18): Youth Fall Reading continues - be sure to visit the library at 6 and 12 hours of reading to claim your prizes and be entered in the grand prize drawing for 12 hours; register now at safetyhaborlibrary.beanstack.com. Stop by for Kids Cooking To Go (ages 4-8) on October 4 and prepare your own Pumpkin Oatmeal Energy Balls at home, make a masterpiece during Teen Outdoor Squirt Gun Painting (ages 13-18) on October 13, and paint mini pumpkins on October 18 (ages 4-8) or October 26 (ages 9-12).

Adults: Nan Colton returns on October 7 with Agatha Christie: Queen of Crime, a performance that will reveal insights into the life of the best-selling fiction writer. This month's CrAfterWork project is cematariums - spooky terrariums perfect for the season. You can register for either of these programs at events.safetyharborlibrary.org. Career Online High School

Safety Harbor Public Library participates in the Career Online High School (COHS) program which offers adults (19 and older) the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate online. The library’s program offers a limited number of scholarships to qualified adult learners who are looking to advance their careers, prepare for workforce entry, and continue their education.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age 19 or older
Pinellas County Resident
PPLC library cardholder in good standing or willing to apply for a library card
At least one year of high school already completed
