Safety Harbor's Teen Leaders program offers teens the chance to learn leadership, professionalism and communication skills while assisting instructors, staff and counselors. Designed for those entering 9th-12th grades and working toward their Bright Futures hours. Part-Time Teen Leaders will help with our specialty part-day camps throughout the summer. Shifts will range from 1.5 to 6 hours in the morning, afternoon and evening, depending on selected camps. Teens can select camps based on their availability, vacation schedule and hours needed for Bright Futures. Mandatory orientation is held on May 5th or 26th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.

We dedicate ourselves to choosing outstanding sta to provide the best summer camp experience for
your child. Campers will have an active and fun-lled day, so be sure to send them with a healthy lunch,
afternoon snack, and a labeled rellable water bottle. Camp fees include eld trips, themed activities,
games, arts and crafts, swim days, and educationally fun projects. Masks are required for campers in
vehicles when transporting to eld trips and swim days. Masks are recommended, but not required
throughout the day. Campers will remain with their designated age group during structured camp
hours of 9am-4pm. During before care, outdoor lunch, and after care, groups will be combined.
Getting Started Camp
Ages: Must be age 5 & entering
Kindergarten prior to starting a
This exciting outdoor camp, taught by an
ACA certified instructor, introduces safe and
proper use of the kayak and equipment.
Camp will travel and launch from a different
park every day. Advanced kayaking experience necessary. All equipment is provided.
Campers must be able to swim. Locations
will vary and subject to change due to
weather, winds, and tides. The instructional approach used in this program follows
American National Standards for on-water,
skills-based instruction in entry-level recreational boat operation that were developed by the National On-Water Standards

Coach D’s All-Sports Camp will include
Capture the Flag, dodgeball, soccer,
kickball, and wiffleball. All equipment is
provided. Be sure to bring a lunch and lots

Interested in learning more about plants
and our ecosystem? We will look at different plants, everything from herbs, native
plants to florals. Nature scavenger hunts,
recycled garden container projects, and
more! Bring your own garden gloves,
water bottle and sunscreen.
Want to become a magician? Develop skills
in the art of magic and perform magic with
everyday objects. On the last day, campers
will perform a magic show of what they
have learned for family and friends.

Welcome to Zumba Gold. The fitness sensation for active
older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class
that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow
Zumba Choreography that focuses on balance, range of
motion, and coordination. Great for beginner to advanced fitness levels.
This camp will be fast moving skill work
geared toward advanced players who are
looking to improve their game. With primary focus on game-like situation drills,
players will increase their basketball
IQ and learn the “whys” behind many
basketball moves. 1 on 1, 3 on 3, and 5
on 5 drills will be played, with the focus
on competing at a high level and using
the situational drills in real time game

In this 2-week camp, themed
“Fractured Fairy Tales,” campers
will develop performance skills
through engaging activities in
character development, improvisation, vocal work and choreography.
All while enjoying humorous takes on
classic fairy tales. On the last day of
camp, campers will perform what they
have learned for family and friends.
Your animal lover will create their own
animal inspired robotic models. Learn
about gear ratio, sensors, simple
machines, and programming as we
build insects, dolphins, gorillas, and
much more. Come have a wild time
building, learning, and playing.
Join us for a fun game filled week of “Do it
Yourself” Camp. Create your very own lifesized carnival games and board games from
game pieces, dice, and the board itself!
Similar to the Western card game Rummy, Mah Jongg is a
game of skill, strategy, calculation and involves a degree
of chance. The game is played with a set of 144 tiles based
on Chinese characters and symbols. All the game sets and
coffee are provided; just bring your own Mah Jongg card.
This group is for Advanced Mah Jongg players.
Level 1- Goldfish: Introduction of basic skills. Parents learn
how to safely work with their child to lay a foundation for
learning to swim. This level is for new swimmers.
Level 2- Guppy: We will build on skills introduced in Level
1 (Goldfish). Children will begin performing some skills
learned in the previous level independently.

This boot camp is designed to tone, strengthen muscles, and
build self-esteem, while exercising outside and inside. Bring
your mat, dumbbells, water, and smartwatch or tracking
device to track your workout.
