Coach will teach basketball skills with an emphasis on fundamentals and team work. Wednesday nights will be dedicated to skills, drills, and game preparation. Saturday is game day. Coach will run controlled games on 8ft. goals.

This league is designated for boys and girls. The emphasis is on learning the game and having fun. Games: Tuesday nights, Saturdays. League age as of 1/1/21.
Safety Harbor's Teen Leaders program offers teens the chance to learn leadership, professionalism and communication skills while assisting instructors, staff and counselors. Designed for those entering 9th-12th grades and working toward their Bright Futures hours. Part-Time Teen Leaders will help with our specialty part-day camps throughout the summer. Shifts will range from 1.5 to 6 hours in the morning, afternoon and evening, depending on selected camps. Teens can select camps based on their availability, vacation schedule and hours needed for Bright Futures. Mandatory orientation is held on May 5th or 26th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
oot camp is a challenging, fun, and supportive workout! If you are new to exercise or just getting back into it,
that’s ok. You can go at your own pace and work your way
up. The boot camp workout consists of cardio conditioning, strength training, and stretching. Every class is different, so no two boot camp sessions are the same.

he City of Safety Harbor Recreation Department welcomes you to another exciting summer of camp!
We dedicate ourselves to choosing outstanding sta to provide the best summer camp experience for
your child. Campers will have an active and fun-lled day, so be sure to send them with a healthy lunch,
afternoon snack, and a labeled rellable water bottle. Camp fees include eld trips, themed activities,
games, arts and crafts, swim days, and educationally fun projects. Masks are required for campers in
vehicles when transporting to eld trips and swim days. Masks are recommended, but not required
throughout the day. Campers will remain with their designated age group during structured camp
hours of 9am-4pm. During before care, outdoor lunch, and after care, groups will be combined.
Getting Started Camp

This exciting outdoor camp, taught by an
ACA certified instructor, introduces safe and
proper use of the kayak and equipment.
Camp will travel and launch from a different
park every day. Advanced kayaking experience necessary. All equipment is provided.
Campers must be able to swim. Locations
will vary and subject to change due to
weather, winds, and tides. The instructional approach used in this program follows
American National Standards for on-water,
skills-based instruction in entry-level recreational boat operation that were developed by the National On-Water Standards

Coach D’s All-Sports Camp will include

This strength training class will help you improve your
flexibility, balance, core and back which will make your
everyday activities easier. Get the workout you need,
and most importantly, have fun while doing it!
Have you ever wanted to learn the art
of creating animals out of balloons?
Develop skills in balloon art and learn
to inflate and create balloon sculptures. Campers will make 3 to 4 balloon
creations per day with practice sessions
of the previous day’s designs. This is
a great camp to repeat, as skills need
to be practiced to become a master

A fort builder’s paradise! Spend this
week with friends in the woods building
forts using materials like cardboard,
wood, tarps, sticks, and leaves. Learn
some valuable survival skills along the

Ages 6Mo - 5
This is a fun-filled class for all levels.
Campers will learn the fundamentals
of proper stance, shooting techniques, and all safety features. This
is a hands-on class, and the coach
will pass on his passion for the sport
of archery. Equipment is provided
with an archery tournament on
Let’s Bowl the afternoon away! It’s interactive bowling on the
big screen, all without the heavy ball and funny shoes. This
game is perfect for active adults and those with limited mobility. We eat lunch together every Wednesday so bring your
appetite with you!
Bring it on! Cheerleading skills are
just one of the many benefits children will learn while attending this
camp. Learn popular cheers, chants,
and group work. Cheerleading helps
with coordination, flexibility,
cooperation with others, and
self-esteem. You bring the spirit,
and we will bring REAL FUN!
This camp is full of experiments that are
fizzing, bubbling or sticky. Dress for a
mess and bring a snack!

for some fun exploring
and creative crafting with elements
from nature. Take home projects
Come try your hand at color design with
all types of tie die crafts and clothing
creations. All Crafts and projects will be
based around the method of tie die.
Campers will make at least 3 clothing crafts.
In this Challenge Island camp, you and your STEAMwarts housemates will take a full load of wizarding classes from transfiguration to flying broomsticks to charms and potions to magical
beasts. The camp will culminate with a graduation ceremony
before you sail your enchanted boats back to the muggle world.

Join this fun beginner workshop series introducing the fundamentals of yoga. This small group setting will meet weekly
for four consecutive sessions outdoors at Folly Farm Gazebo
to explore what yoga is all about. Learn/experience the
fundamentals of a basic, gentle yoga practice. Explore yoga’s
many health benefits for the body and mind like: increased
strength, balance, and flexibility, and cultivate peacefulness
of mind/reduce stress. Allow yourself the experience of trying something new that may ignite or enhance your overall
health and wellness.
Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercise, and meditation. It
helps to improve health and happiness. Meet us on Wednesday nights at Rigsby for this alignment-based, fun, community focused class. All levels welcome.
