Book Drops will be open for you to return your library materials on Monday, May 4. All materials will be checked in fine free. We look forward to serving you on a limited basis in the next few weeks. Updates will  be posted on the Library's website and social media.

Poetry Month

National Poetry Month Contest 

April was National Poetry Month. The Library would like to thank all of those who submitted an entry for participating in our poetry contest. We had an astonishing 226 entries from very bright and talented individuals chosen by our judges: Safety Harbor Poet Laureate, Steve Kistulentz, Former Safety Harbor Poet Laureate, Barbara Finkelstein, local author and poet, Laura Kepner, and local writer Darla Chesnet. Each winner will receive a Safety Harbor Strong t-shirt, courtesy of the Friends of the Safety Harbor Library.

SCORE Small Business Advice

SCORE is committed to helping businesses like yours through the unprecedented challenges from the coronavirus outbreak. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, SCORE mentors will meet with clients remotely. Mentors are available to participate in remote mentoring sessions via phone, email, and video. Career Online High School

Safety Harbor Public Library participates in the Career Online High School (COHS) program. This program offers adults (19 and older) the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate online. The library’s program offers a limited number of scholarships to qualified adult learners who are looking to advance their careers, prepare for workforce entry, and continue their education. Home Delivery Service

For Safety Harbor residents who are unable to get to the library due to illness, disability, or injury. Books, DVDs, audiobooks, and music CDs will be delivered and picked up for return by a library representative. Call 727-724-1525 x 4107. At this time, only patrons that are currently registered will continue to receive home delivery services.
