For safety purposes, the Children's Wing is not available during construction.Children's materials have been moved to other areas of the library and can still be checked out, and we have new areas for families to read and relax. Programs are now either being held off-site, or in other locations within the library. Please check the calendar for details.

Right in the Feels: YA Books with Deep Feelings Author TalkSunday, February 16, 4:30 pm. Join authors Eliot Schrefer, Amanda DeWitt, and Maria Ingrande Mora as they discuss their writing. Presented by Portkey Books. This is a free event, but books can be purchased through Portkey Books to be signed at the event. This event will be held at Safety Harbor Art and Music Center on Sunday, February 16, 4:30 pm.

Baby StarsTuesday, February 18, 10:30 am. A program for infants and toddlers to explore their imagination through music, movement, stories, and fun with the parachute. Instructor Joy Saley leads this program. During library construction, this program is held at Harborside Christian Church.

Story TotsWednesday, February 19, 10:30 am. Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time followed by a take & make craft. During library construction, this program is located at Harborside Church, Room 119.

Teen Creative Writers GroupWednesday, February 19, 5:00 pm. Aspiring teen writers can join local author Laura Kepner to share their work and get helpful feedback. Registration required.

Tween Creative Writers GroupWednesday, February 29, 6:00 pm. Join local author Laura Kepner for a tween creative writing group. Kids should bring a notebook and something to write with and any story they are currently writing or have written. If they choose to read, they will have between five and ten minutes, depending on attendance. The group will go over plot, pacing, characters, and setting.

Baby & Me Story TimeFriday, February 21, 10:30 am. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, learn knee bouncers, twinkle lights, and enjoy bubbles! Ages birth - 18 months. This library program is held at Harborside Church, room 117. Downstairs at the end of the hallway.
