For safety purposes, the Children's Wing is not available during construction.

Children's materials have been moved to other areas of the library and can still be checked out, and we have new areas for families to read and relax. Programs are now either being held off-site, or in other locations within the library. Please check the calendar for details.

Homework Help

Monday, November 4, 3:00-6:00 pm.
Teen volunteers will be at the library to help kids with their homework. Grades K-8. First come, first served.

Story Tots

Wednesday, November 6, 10:30 am.
Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time followed by a take & make craft.

Teen Creative Writers Group

Wednesday, November 6, 5:00 pm.
Aspiring teen writers can join local author Laura Kepner to share their work and get helpful feedback. Registration required. Ages 12-18.

Tween Creative Writers Group

Wednesday, November 6, 6:00 pm.
Join local author Laura Kepner for a tween creative writing group. Kids should bring a notebook and something to write with and any story they are currently writing or have written. If they choose to read, they will have between five and ten minutes, depending on attendance. The group will go over plot, pacing, characters, and setting. Registration required.

Pop-Up Playtime

Free play with baby/toddler/preschool toys set out in the library Youth Zone.

Baby & Me Story Time

Friday, November 8, 10:30 am.
Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, learn knee bouncers, twinkle lights, and enjoy bubbles! This library program is held at Harborside Church, room 117. Downstairs at the end of the hallway.

Toy Swap & Face in the Art Park

Saturday, November 9, 10:00 am.
Enjoy meeting with other families in the community and help declutter as you access new toys for free! The bonus is you are helping keep toys in use and out of landfills. Visit our calendar for toy donation guidelines.
