For safety purposes, the Children's Wing is not available during construction.

Children's materials have been moved to other areas of the library and can still be checked out, and we have new areas for families to read and relax. Programs are now either being held off-site, or in other locations within the library. Please check the calendar for details.

Teen Two-Sentence Horror Story Contest

October 1-31
Teens can submit an original, two-sentence horror story for a chance to win a gift card to a local business. Submit the story via the provided jotform link. Only one submission per participant. All stories must be original and appropriate. Stories can be submitted until October 31, 11:59 pm

Homework Help

Monday, October 28, 3:00-6:00 pm.
Teen volunteers will be at the library to help kids with their homework. Grades K-8. First come, first served.

College Applications Workshop

Tuesday, October 28, 4:00 pm.
During this virtual workshop, students will learn about filling out the CommonApp and writing a compelling personal statement. Recommended materials: pen, pencil, highlighter, laptop or notebook. Parents and students are welcome to attend. Held over Zoom. Registration required.

Story Tots

Wednesday, October 30, 10:30 am.
Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time followed by a take & make craft.

Teen Rainbow Room

Wednesday, October 30, 5:00 pm.
Inclusive, safe monthly hangout for LGBTQIA+ teens and allies. Come in and chat, eat some snacks, and do an optional craft. This month, we will be making pet ghosts.
