Pinellas County is currently within the 5-day Cone for Potential Tropical Cyclone Four. Yesterday, the Governor declared a State of Emergency by Executive Order 24-156, including Pinellas County.

In preparation for the storm, the City will distribute sandbags on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Public Works Yard located at 1200 Railroad Ave. from 10AM until 2PM. Please follow the instructions on the map for how to enter and exit the site.

Maximum of 10 bags for City residents only; bring ID or utility bill for verification.

The last vehicle to be loaded must be through the gate by the end of the event.
