Children's materials have been moved to other areas of the library and can still be checked out, and we have new areas for families to read and relax. Programs are now either being held off-site, or in other locations within the library. Please check the calendar for details.

Library Card Travels Contest

Adventure begins at your library! Take a picture with your PPLC library card wherever you go this summer! Photographs may be taken near or far. Please no people in the focus of your photograph, although people in the background are fine. Submit your entry here.

Terrific Tuesday - Didgeridoo Adventure Down Under

Tuesday, July 16, 11:00 am.
The Digeridoo Down Under Show is an energetic fusion of Australian music, culture, puppetry, comedy, character building, storytelling, and audience movement/participation. Held at Harborside Church.

Teen Rainbow Room

Tuesday, July 16, 4:30 pm.
Inclusive, safe, monthly hangout for LGBTQ+ teens and teen allies. This month, we will be making tissue paper flowers.

Book Bus!

Thursday, July 18, 11:30 am.
Kids, tweens, and teens can receive two free books to keep and enjoy reading this summer! Sponsored by the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County. Held in the Art Park.

Baby & Me Story Time

Friday, July 19, 10:30 am.
Held at Harborside Church. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, learn knee bouncers, twinkle lights, and enjoy bubbles!

Pawsome Readers

Saturday, July 20, 4:00 pm.
Young readers can practice their reading skills with specially trained therapy dogs. Located in the Youth Area inside the library.
