Children's materials have been moved to other areas of the library and can still be checked out, and we have new areas for families to read and relax. Programs are now either being held off-site, or in other locations within the library. Please check the calendar for details.

Adventure begins at your library! Take a picture with your PPLC library card wherever you go this summer! Photographs may be taken near or far. Please no people in the focus of your photograph, although people in the background are fine. Submit your entry here.

Book Give Away

Teen Surprise Book Give Away

Monday, June 3 - Saturday, June 15
Teens can come into the library to pick up a book to keep. The book covers and titles will not be revealed, so the book you get will be a surprise! While supplies last. One book per teen. Due to supplies being limited, parents and guardians cannot pick up books for their teen. Teens must be present to pick up their books. Ages 13-18.

Start of Summer Ice Cream Party

Monday, June 3, 4:30 pm.
Stop by the Art Park to celebrate the start of Summer Reading with a scoop of ice cream and toppings! While supplies last. Open to children, tweens, teens, and families.

Teen Craft: Sand Art Terrarium

Make a colorful terrarium in a jar using sand! Ages 13-18. Registration required. Register here.

Terrific Tuesday - Starlite Puppet Show

Tuesday, June 4, 11:00 am.
Two beloved children's poems have been set to music; with the help of puppet friends to weave a wondrous tale of enjoying the magic of nature's creatures, and then releasing them once again to their homes in the wild. Audience participation and interaction are part of this delightful experience! Best for ages 2-10. This program will be held at the Harborside Church.

Held at the Harborside Church. Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time and take home craft.

Virtual SAT and ACT Test Prep Basics Workshop

Saturday, June 8, 11:00 am.
This virtual workshop covers the differences between the SAT® and ACT®. It is ideal for students who still need to determine which test is right for them and need help getting started with test prep. This interactive and informative session will cover essential strategies and tips to boost your scores and achieve your academic goals.
