For safety purposes, the Children's Wing is not available during construction.
Children's materials have been moved to other areas of the library and can still be checked out, and we have new areas for families to read and relax. Programs are now either being held off-site, or in other locations within the library. Please check the calendar for details.
Stacy at the Zoo-oo-oo Story Time & Concert
Tuesday, April 16, 10:30 am. Special guest author/musician, Stacy Gabel, will read animal-themed stories, sing fun children's songs, play the guitar, and have a dancing good time with the kids!
Story Tots in the Art Park
Wednesday, April 17, 10:30 am. Ages 19 months to 4 years. Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time. This week's Story Tots will take place outside in the Art Park, weather permitting. For your comfort, bring a blanket to sit on.
Homework Help
Wednesday, April 17, 3:00-6:00 pm. Students grades K-8 can get homework help from Teen volunteers at the library. First come, first served. Sign in at the children's desk when you arrive.
Baby & Me Story Time
Friday, April 19, 10:30 am. Ages 18 months and under. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, learn knee bouncers, and enjoy bubbles. This program will be held outside in the Art Park, weather permitting.
Digital SAT Math Strategies Workshop
Saturday, April 20, 4:00 pm. This is a virtual program held over Zoom. The virtual Math Strategies Workshop for the new digital SAT allows students to learn and apply some of the most frequently tested math concepts and strategies needed to succeed on the math sections of the SAT. Register here.
