Summer may be winding down, but your SHPL is still going strong this August! Take a look at some of this month's upcoming events.
Youth (Ages 0-18) - Pre-registration for Children's Fall Reading starts August 1! Sign up at safetyharborlibrary.beanstack.org and get ready to read. Join us on August 2 for Great Explorations - Solid, Liquid, Gas, featuring bubbles and explosions, get building with LEGO League on August 5, and lend your voice to our Ukulele Sing-Along on August 20. Tween and teen programs are taking a break in August but will return in September.
Adults - Looking to explore the Tampa Bay area? Check out Things to Do & Places to Go in Tampa Bay - Author Talk with Kristen Hare and Joshua Ginsberg on August 11. Books available for sale and signing through Portkey Books. Get strumming and learn to play at Intro to Guitar and Bass with Topher Nolen on August 17 - bring your instrument if you have one! The Safety Harbor Library Foundation is hosting Adult Prom on August 27; tickets are available at SafetyHarborLibraryFoundation.org. This month's Saturday Movie Matinee is The Help (PG-13, 2011), on August 27.
