Pinellas County Utilities will conduct routine system maintenance to optimize water quality from Sunday, September 26 through Saturday, October 16. The water treatment method will temporarily change from chloramine to chlorine disinfection throughout the program.
The water is perfectly safe to drink during this period, though you may notice a slight difference in the taste or odor of the water.
Users of kidney dialysis machines and owners of aquatic life should not be impacted, but they should contact their respective service providers for more information.
