Safety Harbor Museum of Regional History will choose winners in each category and one best in show winner. City Commission will vote on Best in Show Winner from list provided by Safety Harbor Museum of Regional History.
There will be one First Place winner in each Subject Category

Contest Rules:

Participants may submit up to 6 photos in any category they wish
All photos must be taken in Safety Harbor
photographs must be submitted in .jpeg, .jpg or .gif format and no larger than 10 MB. You must complete a separate form for each photo submitted
We do not accept photographs submitted through the mail and do not accept more than one contestant per e-mail address. High-quality scans of non-digital photographs are acceptable. Digital photographs should be taken at the highest resolution possible.
For a photo in which a person is recognizable, you must be prepared to provide a model release from the subject or, in the case of a minor, the subject’s parent or guardian, to the City of Safety Harbor upon request. If the entrant is unable to provide all required releases, the City of Safety Harbor in its sole discretion reserves the right to disqualify the submission, seek to secure the required releases, or permit the submission to remain in the contest.
Photos that violate or infringe upon another person's rights, including but not limited to copyright, are not eligible.
Photos that contain sexually explicit, nude, obscene, violent or other objectionable or inappropriate content, as determined by the City of Safety Harbor in its sole discretion, are ineligible for all categories of this contest.
You retain your rights to your photograph; however, by entering the contest, you grant the City of Safety Harbor (and those authorized by the City of Safety Harbor) a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising and promotion of the magazine and its website, exhibition, and commercial products, including but not limited to City of Safety Harbor publications. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible. The City of Safety Harbor will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses.
By submitting a photo entry, participants authorize the City of Safety Harbor to use photos in communications and marketing materials such as, but not limited to, the City of Safety Harbor website, City of Safety Harbor social media accounts, flyers, and brochures.
Participants should be aware that Florida has very broad public records laws. Most written communications to or from local officials regarding city business are public records and are available to the public and media upon request. Your e-mail communication may, therefore, be subject to public disclosure. Under Florida Law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity.
