Pinellas County Utilities will conduct a routine maintenance program on the water system to optimize water quality. The County will temporally switch from chloramine to chlorine disinfection to maintain a healthy and clean drinking water system. Kidney dialysis patients should not be impacted, but should contact their dialysis care provider for more information about chlorine treatment. Fish owners should not be affected if they already have a system in place to remove chloramine, but should contact local pet suppliers with any questions. For more information, contact Pinellas County Utilities at (727) 464-4000.
