Students will work hard, holding poses for 5 breaths, increasing stability and endurance, practicing balance poses, and stretching and lengthening large muscle groups. This class is suitable for all persons, beginners included. Students learn modifications for the different poses while they are working toward mastering them.

    This class uses the support of a chair to do the same poses we do in a traditional yoga class. It helps with mobility and stability and is gentle yet gives you a thorough workout without feeling like a chore. We spend about 15 minutes doing seated stretching poses, the some standing work, using the chair to support our balance. The last part of the class is lying on the floor to experience deeper twists and stretching to enjoy a sense of peacefulness and rest.
