Saturday, September 21

  • World of Reptiles: (Family) 11:00 am-12:00 pm. Learn how coldblooded creatures live, communicate, and move about their environments. Why do Frogs sing? Why don't snakes chew their food? Get an up-close experience with live animals.
  •  LEGO League: (Ages 3-12) 12:00-4:00 pm. Bring your friends and join us for creative building with LEGOS.
  • Teen D&D Club-Waterdeep Dragon Heist Campaign: (Grades 6-12)12:30-4:00 pm. A vast treasure is hidden inside the sprawling metropolis of Waterdeep: If you can out-wit the city's most influential figures, the treasure is yours for the taking. Monday, September 23

  • Humane Society Story Time: (Ages 19 months-4 years) 10:30 am. Join the Humane Society and a special animal guest for a story time and craft.
  • CoderDojo: (Ages 7-17) 5:30 pm. Learn to create your own games with beginning-advanced Scratch or develop your own website with beginning-advanced HTML and beginning-advanced JavaScript. Please bring a laptop. CoderKids in grade 5 and under must have a parent in the room. Online registration required at www.shcoderdojo.com.

Tuesday, September 24

  • Wee Discoveries: (Ages 5 and under)  11:00 am-12:30 pm. Participate in age-appropriate discovery stations that explore STEAM concepts. Adult participation required.
  • Teen Happy Little Painting: (Grades 9-12) Tuesday, September 24, 5:30 pm. Follow along and paint a mountainous landscape. Register at events.safetyharborlibrary.org

Wednesday, September 25

  • Story Tots: (Ages 19 months to 4 years) 10:30-11:15 am. Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time.
  • Homework Help: (Grades 1-8) 3:00-6:00 pm. Teen volunteers will be at the library to assist students with their homework. There is no Homework Help on holidays or during school breaks.  Homework help is only available when we have teen volunteers.
  • Disney Karaoke: (Family) 5:00-6:00 pm. Sing your heart out to Disney songs at Family Karaoke.
  • Teen D&D Club- Murder on the Congo Express Campaign: (Grades 6-12) 5:00-7:30 pm. It’s not really a murder mystery, but lots of people are dead and you must find out why. Beginner and experienced players welcome. Register at events.safetyharborlibrary.org

Thursday, September 26

  • Toddler Sign Language: (Ages 12-24 months) 10:00 am. Our fun and interactive signing classes will teach you how to include signs naturally while interacting with your child through daily routines, play time, story time and music.
  • Baby Sign Language: (Ages 0-3) 10:30 am. Baby Sign Language classes will teach you how to sign with your baby from as early as 6 months old! Our fun and interactive signing classes teach you how to include signs naturally while interacting with your baby through daily routines, playtime, story time and music.
  • Teen Switch Day: (Grades 6-12) 5:00 pm. Play popular video games on the Nintendo Switch.

Friday, September 27

  • Baby & Me Story Time: (Ages 18 months and under) 10:30-11:30 am. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, and learn fingerplays, followed by a play session.
