Youth Services Programs for April 13-19, 2019


Saturday, April 13

  • LEGO League: (Ages 3-12) 12:00-4:00 pm. Bring your friends and join us for creative building with LEGOS.

Monday, April 15

  • Story Tots: (Ages 19 months to 4 years) 10:30 am. Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time.
  • CoderDojo: (Ages 7-17) 5:30 pm. Learn to create your own games with beginning – advanced Scratch or develop your own website with beginning- advanced HTML and JavaScript. Please bring a laptop. CoderKids in grade 5 and under must have a parent in the room. Online registration required at www.shcoderdojo.com.

Tuesday, April 16

  • Preschool Arts and Crafts: (Ages 2-4 years) 10:30 am. Create your own book character crafts. All supplies provided. Registration begins on March 19.
  • Tuesday Crafternoon: (Ages 4-8) 4:00-5:00 pm. Join us as we make­ Earth Day crafts. All supplies provided. Registration begins on March 19.
  • Teen Oreo Taste Test Challenge: (Grades 6-12) 4:30 pm. Drop by the Teen Zone and see if you can guess this month’s Oreo flavor for a prize. While supplies last.                                                        

Wednesday, April 17

  • Story Tots: (Ages 19 months to 4 years) 10:30 am. Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time.
  • Tween Cookbook Club- Spaghetti and Garlic Bread: (Ages 9-12) 5:30-6:30 pm. Do you love cooking and trying out new recipes? Join us as we make spaghetti! All supplies provided. Registration begins March 20.

Thursday, April 18

  • Toddler Sign Language: (Ages 12-24 months) 10:00 am. Our fun and interactive signing classes will teach you how to include signs naturally while interacting with your child through daily routines, play time, story time and music.
  • Baby Sign Language: (Ages 0-3) 10:30 am. Baby Sign Language classes will teach you how to sign with your baby from as early as 6 months old! Our fun and interactive signing classes teach you how to include signs naturally while interacting with your baby through daily routines, playtime, storytime and music.
  • Teen Screen and Slime: (Grades 6-12) 5:00-7:30 pm. Watch Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (PG, 2018) and make slime.
