Are you excited about our Blacklight Art Show and Night Market? On October 5th from 6-9pm, the Safety Harbor Museum will turn into a beautiful black light world with art, painting classes, a night market and more! Come by and see more of what we’ll have on display and buy a treasure or two. This event is free and open to the public!

Calling all octogenarians! Celebrate the library’s 80th birthday with cake, music, and games. Anyone age 80 and older is invited! If you are on the cusp of 80 you are invited too!  RSVP by September 28.

It's Never Too Late to Become an Artist

Art Fun-damentals For Adults
Come meet new friends while exploring a variety of art materials, styles, and techniques! In this class, artists of all skill levels will create amazing 2D and 3D masterpieces using acrylic paint, watercolors, charcoal, clay, and more. All materials included.

Craft & Chatter 
It's craft time! Bring your unfinished project or start a new one, while you craft and chatter with a friend or make a new one. We will have craft supplies for you to finish your project or to make a new one.

Wine Glass Painting

Join us for a fun night of painting holiday-themed wine glasses! Bring your favorite bottle of wine, snacks and create your own one of a kind glass! Class includes a wine glass, paints, brushes, instructor assistance, and care instructions for your glass. If you would like to bring your own glass to paint on we will only charge you $13 for the class!

Art Fun For Kids

Parent/Child Canvas Painting
Each participant will receive their own canvas to create a collaborative piece of art that can be hung together or individually. Monthly themes are fall leaves, pumpkin patch, thankful for you, and winter wonderland. Please wear painting attire. All materials included. Register only the child. Parent participation required.

Join our girl talk conversation. This is a time for high school girls to come together and talk about everyday situations and meet new friends.

For Native Floridians, the night sky was very important for navigational, religious, and historical reasons. Over time, the sky has changed and so has the way people relate to it. Learn about how astronomical and cultural changes have affected the importance of the night sky to people today.
