Upcoming Children's Programs for March 17-23, 2017

LEGO League: (Ages 3-12) Saturdays, March 17,  12:00-4:00 pm. Bring your friends and join us for creative building with LEGOs.

Paws for Friendship: (Ages 8 and under) Sunday, March 18, 2:00 pm. Improve your reading skills and earn a certificate and a sticker by reading a book to a trained therapy dog.

Homework Help: (Grades 1-8) Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:00 pm. Bright Futures Scholarship students will be at the library to assist students with their homework. There is no Homework Help during school breaks.

Toddler Story Time: (Ages 18 months to 3 years) Monday, March 19, 10:30 am. Young ones will be introduced to language and literature as they listen to stories, sing songs, and do finger plays.

Preschool Story Yoga: (Ages 2-5 years) Tuesday, March 20, 10:30 am. Enjoy fun animal and nature poses, partner games, songs, interactive stories, and relaxation! Please bring a mat or towel and wear stretchy clothes.

Tuesday Crafternoon: (Ages 4-8) Tuesday, March 20, 3:30 pm. Join us as we create a spring craft. All supplies provided. Registration required.

Preschool Story Time: (Ages 2-5 years) Wednesday, March 21, 10:30 am. Preschoolers will develop listening and early literacy skills while participating in story time with books, songs, and dance.

Beginners’ Robotics for Homeschoolers: (Ages 10-17) Wednesday, March 21, 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Mentors and pre-qualified students work together on special robotics projects. Kids must attend each week, beginning with the first class. Registration required.

Intermediate Robotics for Homeschoolers: (Ages 10-17) Wednesday, March 21, 1:00-3:00 pm. Mentors and pre-qualified students who have successfully completed our beginner program work together on special robotics projects. Kids must attend each week, beginning with the first class. Registration required.

Tween Cookbook Club: (Ages 9-12) Wednesday, March 21, 5:30 pm. Do you love cooking and trying new recipes? Join us as we create delicious dishes at the library and test them out. All supplies provided. Registration required.

Youth Drama: (Grades 2-5) Thursday, March 22, 3:30-4:30 pm. Learn how drama builds confidence, community, cooperation, and teamwork while still being loads of fun. Kids are expected to attend each session, as the material builds. Registration required.
