Children's Programs

Upcoming Children's Programs for March 10-16, 2018


LEGO League: (Ages 3-12) Saturday, March 10, 12:00-4:00 pm. Bring your friends and join us for creative building with LEGOs.

Homework Help: (Grades 1-8) Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:00 pm. Bright Futures Scholarship students will be at the library to assist students with their homework. There is no Homework Help during school breaks.

Toddler Story Time: (Ages 18 months to 3 years) Monday, March 12, 10:30 am. Young ones will be introduced to language and literature as they listen to stories, sing songs, and do finger plays.

Preschool Story Time: (Ages 2-5 years) Wednesday, March 14, 10:30 am. Preschoolers will develop listening and early literacy skills while participating in story time with books, songs, and dance.

Beginners’ Robotics: (Ages 10-17) Thursday, March 15, 4:30-6:00 pm. Mentors and pre-qualified students work together on robotics projects. Kids must attend every week, beginning with the first class. Registration required.

Intermediate Robotics: (Ages 10-17) Thursday, March 15, 6:15-7:45 pm. Mentors and pre-qualified students who have successfully completed our beginner program work together on special robotics projects. Kids must attend every week, beginning with the first class. Registration required.

Youth Drama:
(Grades 2-5) Thursday, March 15, 3:30-4:30 pm. Learn how drama builds confidence, community, cooperation, and teamwork while still being loads of fun. Kids are expected to attend each session, as the material builds. Registration required.

Beginners’ Robotics:
(Ages 10-17) Thursday, March 15, 4:30-6:00 pm. Mentors and pre-qualified students work together on robotics projects. Kids must attend every week, beginning with the first class. Registration required.

Baby & Me
: (Ages 18 months and under) Friday, March, 16, 10:00 am. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, and learn finger plays, followed by a play session.
