Art on Canvas Fundraiser

The Safety Harbor Library Foundation is seeking artists of all ages and anyone creative to paint and donate a creative canvas for their Art on Canvas Fundraiser.

There is no artist or entry fee. Group, family, and club entries are also encouraged.  Artists supply their own canvas of any size.  Artists will not be paid for their time or materials, however artists and group names will be honored in the Library and on the Foundation website where pictures of each donated canvas can be viewed. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Creative, Staff Favorite, and People’s Choice.

Artist applications are on the Foundation website: www.SafetyHarborLibraryFoundation.org.  Delivery of completed canvases are requested at the Library on or before Wednesday, March 7.

Donated artwork will on display in the Library rotunda March 8 through April 13.  Entries from youth under age 16 will be displayed in the children’s department.  Chances to win and own one of the canvases $1.00 per ticket or six for $5.00.  Winners will be notified by April 16.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Foundation’s 20/20 Vision capital campaign to create a second story meeting room facility.  For further information, visit http://www.safetyharborlibraryfoundation.org or contact via email; lkothe@cityofsafetyharbor.com or 727-724-1525, x4106.
