Upcoming Children's Programs for January 6-12, 2018 

Family Story Time: (Family) Saturday, January 6, 10:30 am. Families can enjoy a fun story, activity, and craft. 

Toddler Story Time: (Ages 18 months to 3 years) Monday, January 8, 10:30 am. Young ones will be introduced to language and literature as they listen to stories, sing songs, and do finger plays.

Homework Help: (Grades 1-8) Monday, January 8, 3:00-6:00 pm. Bright Futures Scholarship students will be at the library to assist students who are struggling with their homework. There is no Homework Help during school breaks. Sign up at the Youth Services Desk when you arrive. 

Preschool Arts and Crafts: (Ages 2-5 years) Tuesday, January 9, 10:30 am. Create winter-themed crafts. All supplies provided. Registration required.

Preschool Story Time: (Ages 2-5 years) Wednesday, January 10, 10:30 am. Preschoolers will develop listening and early literacy skills while participating in story time with books, songs, and dance.

Children’s Movie: (Ages 12 and under) Wednesday, January 10, 3:30 pm. Watch Despicable Me 3 (PG, 2017). Snacks and drinks provided.

Garfield’s Cyber Party: (Ages 6-12 years) Wednesday, January 10, 6:00 p.m. Learn how to be safe on various types of websites with Garfield and friends! There will be an educational video, followed by Garfield crafts, games, and snacks. This is the second installment in our Garfield Cyber Party series. Registration required.

Pawsome Readers Program:  Thursday, January 11, 3:30 pm. Practice your reading with specially trained therapy dog Oliver.

Baby & Me: (Ages 18 months and under) Friday, January 12, 10:00 am. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, and learn finger plays, followed by a play session.
