Children's Programs: December 2 - 8, 2018

LEGO League: (Ages 3-12) Saturday, December 2, 12:00-4:00 pm. Bring your friends and join us for creative building with LEGOs.
 
Harbor Holiday Storytime Party: (Family) Saturday, December 2, 5:30-9:30 pm. Celebrate holidays in the harbor with special stroytimes, crafts, letters to Santa, a visit from Rudolph, and cookies and milk.

Paws for Friendship: (Ages 8 and under) Sunday, December 3, 2:00 pm. Improve your reading skills and earn a certificate by reading a book to a trained therapy dog. 

Toddler Story Time: (Ages 18 months to 3 years) Monday, December 4, 10:30 am. Young ones will be introduced to language and literature as they listen to stories, sing songs, and do finger plays.

Homework Help:  (Grades 1-8) Monday, December 4, 3:00-6:00 pm. Bright Futures Scholarship students will be at the library to assist students who are struggling with their homework. There is no Homework Help during school breaks. Sign up at the Youth Services Desk when you arrive. 

Music with Mar with Miss Karen: (Ages 6 months-5 years) Tuesday, December 5, 10:00 am. Caregivers and children participate together in musical activities that enhance the four main areas of development-cognitive, social, motor, and language. 

Pokémon Club: (Ages 5-12) Tuesday, December 5, 4:30-5:30 pm.  Join us for fun with all things Pokémon! There will be a Pokémon-related activity each month. Don’t forget to bring your cards for some friendly trading. 

Preschool Story Time: (Ages 2-5 years) Wednesday, December 6, 10:30 am. Preschoolers will develop listening and early literacy skills while participating in story time with books, songs, and dance.

Paw-some Readers Program:  Thursday, December 7, 3:30 pm. Practice your reading with specially trained therapy dog Oliver and receive a sticker and a special certificate. 

Baby & Me: (Ages 18 months and under) Friday, December 8, 10:00 am. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, and learn finger plays, followed by a play session.
