Children's Programs: November 11-17, 2017

Family Story Time: (Family) Saturday, November 11, 10:30 am. Families can enjoy a fun story, activity, and craft. 

LEGO League: (Ages 3-12) Saturday, November 11, 12:00-4:00 pm and Wednesday, November 15, 3:30-5:00 pm. Bring your friends and join us for creative building with LEGOs.

Paws for Friendship: Sunday, November 12, 2:00 pm. Improve your reading skills and earn a certificate by reading a book to a trained therapy dog. 

Toddler Story Time: (Ages 18 months to 3 years) Monday, November 13, 10:30 am. Young ones will be introduced to language and literature as they listen to stories, sing songs, and do finger plays.

Homework Help:  (Grades 1-8) Monday, November 13, 3:00-6:00 pm.  Bright Futures Scholarship students will be at the library to assist students who are struggling with their homework. There is no Homework Help during school breaks. Sign up at the Youth Services Desk when you arrive. 

CoderDojo: (Ages 7-17) Monday, November 13 and 20, 5:30 pm. Learn how to code; develop websites, apps, and games; and explore technology in an informal and creative environment. This class is led by local software professionals. Please bring a laptop. CoderKids in grade 5 and under must also bring a participating parent. Online registration required at www.shcoderdojo.com.

Preschool Arts and Crafts: (Ages 2-5 years) Tuesday, November 14, 10:30 am. Create your own story props. All supplies provided. Registration required.
 
Stories and Art: (Grades 2-5) Tuesday, November 14, 4:00 pm. Have fun learning about famous artists and creating art in their style. Registration required.
 
Storytime Ukulele Sing-along: (Ages 2-5 years) November, 15, 10:30 am. Join us for a fun sing-along and ukulele music presented by Miss Jenipher.

Baby & Me: (Ages 18 months and under) Friday, November 17, 10:00 am. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, and learn finger plays, followed by a play session.
