Family Story Time: (Family) Saturday, October 21, 10:30 am. Families can enjoy a fun story, activity, and craft. 
 
Paws for Friendship: Saturday, October 21, 11:15 am. Practice your reading with specially trained therapy dogs. 

LEGO League: (Ages 3-12) Saturdays, October 21, 12:00-4:00 pm. Bring your friends and join us for creative building with LEGOs.

Toddler Story Time: (Ages 18 months to 3 years) Monday, October 23, 10:30 am. Young ones will be introduced to language and literature as they listen to stories, sing songs, and do finger plays.

Homework Help:  (Grades 1-8) Monday, October 23, 3:00-6:00 pm.  Bright Futures Scholarship students will be at the library to assist students who are struggling with their homework. There is no Homework Help during school breaks. Sign up at the Youth Services Desk when you arrive. 

CoderDojo: (Ages 7-17) Monday, October 23, 5:30 pm. Learn how to code; develop websites, apps, and games; and explore technology in an informal and creative environment. This class is led by local software professionals. Please bring a laptop. CoderKids in grade 5 and under must also bring a participating parent. Online registration required at www.shcoderdojo.com.

Wee Discoveries: (Ages 5 and under) Tuesday, October 24, 11:00 am. Play with age-appropriate discovery stations designed to encourage creativity in learning with STEM goals in mind. Adult participation required. 

Tween Halloween Cupcake Wars: (Ages 9-12) Tuesday, October 24, 5:30 pm. Decorate a Halloween-inspired cupcake. Final creation will be judged on creativity. Registration required. 

Beginners’ Robotics for Homeschoolers: (Ages 10-17) Wednesday, October 25, 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Mentors and pre-qualified students work together on special robotics projects. This class is for pre-registered students.

Preschool Story Time: (Ages 2-5 years) Wednesday, October 25, 10:30 am.  Preschoolers will develop listening and early literacy skills while participating in story time with books, songs, and dance.

Garfield's Cyber Party: (Ages 6-12) Wednesday, October 25, 6:00 pm. Celebrate Cyber Security Awareness Month with all things Garfield including a story, cyber security video, and interactive materials. Registration required. 

Humane Society Story Time: (Ages 4-10) Thursday, October 26, 3:30 pm. Join Ms. Lucy and a special animal guest for Halloween story time and a craft.

Intermediate Robotics: (Ages 10-17) Thursday,October 26, 6:15-7:45 pm. Students who have successfully completed our beginners’ program work on more complicated projects with the aid of our mentors. This class is for pre-registered students. 

Baby & Me: (Ages 18 months and under) Friday, October 27, 10:00 am. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, and learn finger plays, followed by a play session. 

Tween Chess Club: (Ages 9-12) Friday, October 27, 4:00-5:30 pm. Develop chess skills by playing with your friends. Beginners and advanced players welcome.
