LEGO League: (Ages 3-12) Saturday, September 30, 12:00-4:00 pm. Bring your friends and join us for creative building with LEGOS.
Toddler Story Time: (Ages 18 months to 3 years) Monday, October 2,10:30 am. Young ones will be introduced to language and literature as they listen to stories, sing songs, and do finger plays.
Homework Help: (Grades 1-8) Monday, October 2, 3:00-6:00 pm. Bright Futures Scholarship students will be at the library to assist students who are struggling with their homework. There is no Homework Help during school breaks. Sign up at the Youth Services Desk when you arrive.
CoderDojo: (Ages 7-17) Monday, October 2, 5:30 pm. Learn how to code; develop websites, apps, and games; and explore technology in an informal and creative environment. This class is led by local software professionals. Please bring a laptop. CoderKids in grade 5 and under must also bring a participating parent. Online registration required at www.shcoderdojo.com.
Music with Mar with Miss Karen: (Ages 6 months-5 years) Tuesday, October 3, 10:00 am. Caregivers and children participate together in musical activities that enhance the four main areas of development--cognitive, social, motor, and language.
Pokémon Club: (Ages 5-12) Tuesday, October 3, 4:30-5:30 pm. Join us for fun with all things Pokémon! There will be a Pokémon-related activity each month. Don’t forget to bring your cards for some friendly trading.
Preschool Story Time: (Ages 2-5 years) Wednesday, October 4, 10:30 am. Preschoolers will develop listening and early literacy skills while participating in story time with books, songs, and dance.
Beginners’ Robotics for Homeschoolers: (Ages 10-17) Wednesday, October 4, 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Mentors and pre-qualified students work together on special robotics projects. This class is for pre-registered students.
Intermediate Robotics for Homeschoolers: (Ages 10-17) Wednesday, October 4, 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Mentors and pre-qualified students work together on special robotics projects. This class is for pre-registered students.
