Upcoming Children's Programs for August 19-25, 2017

Family Tie Dye Fun!: (All ages) Saturday, August 19, 11:00 am. Bring an item to tie dye and get creative with color and patterns! (Weather permitting)

Paws for Friendship: (Ages 8 & under) Sunday, August 20, 2:00 pm. Improve your reading skills and earn a certificate by reading a book to a trained therapy dog. 

Toddler Story Time: (Ages 18 months to 3 years) Monday, August  21, 10:30 am. Young ones will be introduced to language and literature as they listen to stories, sing songs, and do fingerplays.

Wee Discoveries: (Ages 5 and under) Tuesday, August 22, 11:00 am. Play with age-appropriate discovery stations designed to encourage creativity in learning with STEM goals in mind. Adult participation required. 

Paws for Friendship - Meet Rhem: (Ages 8 & under) Tuesday, August 22, 11:30 am. Improve your reading skills and earn a certificate by reading a book to a trained therapy dog. 

Tween Craft: Perler Beads: (Ages 9-12) Tuesday, August 22, 5:30 pm. Use your creativity and make a Perler bead creation. All supplies provided. Registration required. 

Preschool Story Time: (Ages 2-5 years) Wednesday, August 23, 10:30 am.  Preschoolers will develop listening and early literacy skills while participating in story time with books, songs, and dance.

Baby & Me: (Ages 18 months and under) Friday, August  25, 10:00 am. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, and learn fingerplays, followed by a play session. 

Tween Chess Club: (Ages 9-12) Friday, August 25, 4:00-5:30 pm. Develop chess skills by playing with your friends. Beginners and advanced players welcome.
