Children's Programs for June 3-9, 2017

Summer Reading Kickoff Party: Monday, June 5, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Celebrate reading with this year’s theme, “Build a Better World.” We’ll have a free book giveaway, games, crafts and snacks. Get your summer reading logs and get ready to read, have fun, and earn prizes!

Elliott Smith, Magician: (Ages 12 and under) Tuesday, June 6, 1:00 p.m. See the magic. Have some laughs. Wonder how it’s done! Seating is first come, first served!

Pokémon Club: (Ages 5-12) Tuesday, June 6, 4:30-5:30 pm. Join us for fun with all things Pokémon! There will be a Pokémon-related activity each month. Don’t forget to bring your cards for some friendly trading. 

Wee Sing:  (Ages 1-5) Wednesday, June 7, 10:30 am. Celebrate the return of Ms. Jennifer with the fun musical program that incorporates foreign language, musical instruments, and more! Registration required.

Ukulele Workshop: (All ages) Wednesday, June 7, 6:30-7:30 pm. Learn all about the different ukulele sizes, how to hold, tune, strum, play a few chords, and learn two songs with the Tampa Bay Ukulele Society.

Children’s Movie: (Ages 12 and under) Thursday, June 8, 10:30 a.m. Watch Sing (PG, 2016). Snacks and drinks provided.

Baby & Me: (Ages 18 months and under) Friday, June 9, 10:30 a.m. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, and learn fingerplays, followed by a play session.
