The Safety Harbor Public Library and the Friends of the Safety Harbor Public Library seek proposals from artists or artist teams for a mural to be installed inside the Safety Harbor Public Library. Deadline for Submission is Friday, June 23, 2017.
 
Project Goals: To create a soothing environment for library guests to sit, relax, and read poetry, bringing in elements of nature from outside adjacent windows. The words Poetry Corner must be displayed somewhere in the project. Incorporation of poetry and verse is encouraged.

Site Description:  Corner window seating area in the Adult Area of the Library consisting of four small wall areas overlooking public park.

Project Budget: $450 artist honorarium.
