Low Water Pressure Wednesday
Pinellas County Utilities customers in the vicinity of McMullen Booth Road and State Road 580 may experience brief periods of low water pressure during a 24-hour system test that will begin in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 9.
The test will run from about 1 a.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday and could impact customers in neighborhoods adjacent to Countryside High School in Clearwater and Safety Harbor.
Crews will also close two southbound lanes on McMullen Booth Road, including the right-hand turn lane, for about three hours at the beginning and end of the test to access water system valves.
Pinellas County is testing the backup water supply from the city of St. Petersburg to ensure county utilities customers will not have service interruptions during a water main repair scheduled to start on Saturday, March 19, near Countryside High School. More information on the repair will be made available before work begins.
Residents with questions about their water service can call Pinellas County Utilities Customer Service at (727) 464-4000.
