Spring is here and we've got plenty for you to do this month!

Youth (Ages 0-18): Kids 5-8 can learn how to "yes, and…" during Theater and Improv Games on April 11, then look to the skies with Great Explorations: Looking Up - Time for Takeoff on April 25, while tweens can craft a Fairy House on April 26 and both tweens and teens can take home a Snack Cake Taste Test Kit from April 18 - April 23.

Adults: Our National Poetry Month Contest on the theme of perseverance continues through April 14, with winners announced at Poetry at the Pier on April 22. Maestro Stephen Brown presents How Music Makes & Shapes Our Culture on April 2 and adults are invited to Show & Tell on April 7. This month's Saturday Movie Matinee is Coming Home Again (2019).

Updated City Website

The City of Safety Harbor recently updated its website, cityofsafetyharbor.com, meaning the library's homepage, safetyharborlibrary.com, has a new look! Access to the events calendar, room reservations, electronic library resources, and the Tool Library is just a click away.

Safety Harbor Seed Library

Get planting this spring with our seed library! Located near the circulation desk, this little library allows cardholders to take up to 5 packets of seeds. We also accept donations of seeds, either those saved from your harvest or leftovers from commercial packets. More information can be found here.

If you need equipment for gardening, the Safety Harbor Tool Library has shovels, rakes, soil tillers and cultivators, seed spreaders, and much more! All you need to sign up for the Tool Library is a PPLC library card in good standing.
