Weekend Activities Before Cold Weather ReturnsIf you're looking for something to do this weekend, we've got you covered! On Saturday (tomorrow), 2/5, you can join us at Folly Farm for either Backyard Games or our Family Fort Building Challenge! Backyard Games is a FREE event from 11am-1pm. We will have a horse shoe pit, badminton court, croquet course, bocce ball field and more! It's a great opportunity to connect with family and nature in a super fun environment.
Our Family Fort Building Challenge runs from 2:30-3:30pm. Spend the afternoon building forts using cardboard, wood, tarps, sheets, sticks, leaves, and more. Learn survival skills as your family competes in the fort building challenge. Wear outdoor clothes, closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, and bring water and snacks. Register each family member. We've Got You Covered Next Weekend Too!If you don't make it out this weekend, or you just want to keep going next weekend, we've got even more activities to keep you busy. On Friday, Feb. 11th, you can enjoy our Evening Campfire & Hike from 6:15-8pm. Join us for an evening of family fun with stories, s'mores and an educational night hike. Parents must accompany their children. Dress for the weather and wear bug spray. It's $3 to pre register or $5 the night of the event if space is available. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. That's Not All for Next Weekend!Friday has a couple of opportunities next weekend, but we also have events going on Saturday and Sunday! Explore, Discover, Grow is on the 2nd Saturday of the month, so on Feb. 12th from 10am-12pm, visit us at Folly Farm for February's event, Love My Park. What better way than to start off Valentine's weekend loving on your favorite Nature Preserve - Folly Farm? Learn about her history, stroll her trails, relax at the Gazebo or dance among the butterflies. Free brunch for the bunch!! This FREE event is for all ages and is from 10am-12pm. Last But Not Least...At the end of the month, on Saturday, Feb. 26th, we have two FREE events. Join us for our 4th Annual Community Cleanup! The City of Safety Harbor invites all residents, organizations and community groups to participate in the Community Cleanup, keeping Safety Harbor beautiful! Together we will remove tons of litter from our streets, parks and neighborhoods. Help make our community cleaner, greener and more beautiful. Our Community Cleanup is from 9am-12pm. Our Go Fish! A Family Fun Fishing Day is also coming up on Saturday, Feb. 26th from 8-11am.
