The Maps That Change Florida's History - Free Event

Join us at the Museum next Friday, June 18th at 6:30pm for a presentation by Jim MacDougald, Author and Historian, on his new book "The Maps That Change Florida's History." The book uses rare Spanish maps to determine that Juan Ponce de León established the first European colony in or near Safety Harbor, on the shores of Old Tampa Bay.
Celebrating the 500th anniversary of Ponce de León's establishment of the first colony in what is now the United States.
