An adventure/reading challenge for adults that can be completed through our Beanstack app. Complete each monthly challenge to earn a prize at the end of the month.

Luck of the Limerick – Writing Contest

Monday, February 15 – March 18.
A limerick is a five-line poem with an AABBA rhyme scheme. Clean, original poems only. Submit online at SafetyHarborLibrary.com. Prizes are $50, $25, and $15 gift cards to Safety Harbor businesses. Winners will be determined by library staff.

Words & Wine Book Club

Words and Wine Book Club will be meeting Monday, February 15 at Waterfront Park under the sail shade at 6 PM. Participants may order take-out from Whistle Stop at 10% discount if they state they are attending Words & Wine. February’s title is The Lying Game by Ruth Ware. Hoopla

February is the first hoopla Bonus Borrow month of 2021.One month each quarter, patrons can choose from hundreds of titles in our Bonus Borrows collection. These hoopla Instant titles will be at NO cost to libraries and require ZERO patron borrows. Hoopla Digital provides online and mobile access to thousands of movies, TV shoes, music, audiobooks, ebooks and comic books. Apps are available for Apple, Android, Amazon, Chromecast, Apple TV, Android TV, and Roku.

Memories in the Making

Mondays 2:00 – 3:00 pm.

Mobile Printing

Mobile printing through the Princh app is now available at the Safety Harbor Public Library. Patrons can print from their mobile device or laptop, inside or outside the library, and pay for print jobs in advance via credit card or PayPal.

Score Small Business Counseling

Tool Library

Wednesday- Friday 10:00am - 5:30pm, Saturday 10:00am - 4:30pm All you need to borrow tools from SHPL is a PPLC library card. Tools must be reserved online through the catalog at least one day prior to the day that you would like them, and they can be picked up during our open hours.

Career Online High School

Safety Harbor Public Library participates in the Career Online High School (COHS) program. This program offers adults (19 and older) the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate online. The library’s program offers a limited number of scholarships to qualified adult learners who are looking to advance their careers, prepare for workforce entry, and continue their education. Home Delivery Service

For Safety Harbor residents who are unable to get to the library due to illness, disability, or injury. Books, DVDs, audiobooks, and music CDs will be delivered and picked up for return by a library representative. Call 727-724-1525 x4107.
