Art on Canvas Fundraiser

The Art on Canvas Fundraiser has been extended. Due to the library closure for COVID-19, donated artwork will be on display in the Library rotunda through
July 6. Tickets for a chance to win and own one of the canvases are $1.00 per ticket or six tickets for $5.00. Winners notified July 7. Place your ticket in the bag in front of each painting. Visit http://www.safetyharborlibraryfoundation.org/art-on-canvas-fundraiser-2020.html for more details.

Curbside Pick-Up

Curbside pick-up is now available. We realize patrons may not be comfortable visiting the Library, so we are offering curbside pick-up service Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:00 AM to 5:45 PM. To request items visit Visit the library catalog at https://pplc.ent.sirsi.net/ to find items you’d like and place holds online, or call 727-724-1525 x4112 or email shplref@cityofsafetyharbor.com to request items. When emailing include your name, library card number, and title and format (DVD, book, large print) of item requested.

Limited to ten (10) items per card per week. When your items are available, you will be notified with an automated phone call or email message. Call us at 727-724-1525 x4112 upon your arrival at the library and we will bring the items out to your car. Please have your ID ready.

Tool Library

10:00am - 5:30pm Wednesday through Friday, and 10:00am - 4:00pm on Saturday. All you need to borrow tools from SHPL is a PPLC library card. Tools must be reserved online through the catalog at least one day prior to the day that you would like them, and they can be picked up during our open hours.

Career Online High School

Safety Harbor Public Library participates in the Career Online High School (COHS) program. This program offers adults (19 and older) the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate online. The library’s program offers a limited number of scholarships to qualified adult learners who are looking to advance their careers, prepare for workforce entry, and continue their education. Home Delivery Service

For Safety Harbor residents who are unable to get to the library due to illness, disability, or injury. Books, DVDs, audiobooks, and music CDs will be delivered and picked up for return by a library representative. Call 727-724-1525 x 4107.
