Downtown Partnership Grants Available

The City of Safety Harbor Community Redevelopment Agency provides economic incentives encouraged by the Downtown Master Plan. Grant funding is available this fall for projects within the Community Redevelopment District. The application deadline is October 16, 2017. Applications are reviewed prior to the commencement of the project, and approved grant reimbursements are issued after the work is complete. The application form is available at:

Neighborhood Grant Opportunities

Does your neighborhood association or organization have ideas to beautify or enhance a common area? Neighborhood project and beautification matching grant applications are being accepted this fall. The application deadline is October 2, 2017. Eligible projects for neighborhood project grants include physical improvements including entryway signs, fencing, walkways, fountains, and lighting. Eligible projects for beautification matching grants include landscaping and irrigation. Grant application information is available at

Mayor’s Award of Excellence

The City is accepting nominations for the Mayor’s Award of Excellence to recognize businesses and residents who recently enhanced the appearance of their property. Examples of eligible projects include painting, cleaning, remodeling, and landscaping.
