Free AARP Tax-Aide for all ages is available at the Safety Harbor Public Library Friday, February 3 through April 17, 2017. Hours of assistance are Mondays, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, and Fridays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. (Tax-Aide is not available 2/20 Presidents’ Day, 3/10, 3/13, or 4/14 Good Friday.)
Tax-Aide is held in the Library Meeting Room and is accessible from the parking lot at the south end of the Library. Please look for directional signs, as entry to Tax-Aide is not accessible through our main entrance.
AARP recommends bringing your previous year’s IRS tax return and social security card. Appointments are not accepted for this first-come, first-served assistance. Your wait time will be provided upon signing in with an AARP Tax Volunteer. Library staff cannot estimate wait times.
The IRS provides the Library with a limited supply of IRS paper Tax Forms and Instruction Books. IRS Tax Forms and Publications are obtainable at www.irs.gov/forms-pubs.
