Beanstack Reading Programs
Beanstack is a free online service that offers an innovative new way to connect children and their families with books and educational reading activities that match each person’s interests, age, and reading level. It also includes book and activity logging, badges, and registration for all members of the family under one account. Simply register one time to participate in library sponsored reading programs and activities all year round!

How Do I Start?
To get the most out of your reading experience, we recommend that you create a Beanstack account. Parents can also create accounts for their children. In Beanstack, you can view the available activities, enter the books you have read, write book reviews and more. You will receive prizes as you progress and be entered into drawings at the end of the program.

To register, visit the Beanstack website or login through the app.  

Beanstack app available for iOS and Android.
Beanstack will automatically direct you to the appropriate activities based on your age.  There are five age groups: preschool, children, tween, teens, and adult.  In order to be contacted about prizes and drawings, please include an email address and telephone number as part of your Beanstack profile.

Hey kids! Put some spring in your step and get reading! The Children’s Spring Into Reading Program for ages 5-8 is available February 1 - April 23. Log your minutes and earn prizes at 6 and 12 hours. Once you complete 12 hours you will be entered into the drawing for the grand prize Super Reader Basket. Ready, set, bloom! 
Tween-Spring-Reading-2022-Banner

The Tween Spring Reading Program for ages 9-12 is available February 1 - April 23. Log the minutes you read to earn badges and rewards! Read up to 12 hours to be entered into the drawing for the grand prize. Visit the library to collect your prizes at 6 and 12 hours read.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

It's never too early to start your little one on the road to reading! The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program encourages you to spend time sharing books with your little ones while building critical early literacy skills before he or she starts school. Earn badges along the way to a special completion prize. Start your child’s journey today.

Teen Spring Reading
The Teen Spring Reading Challenge for ages 13-18 is available from February 1 - April 23. Log all of the minutes you spend reading to earn all of the badges in this spring-themed challenge! Read 12 hours to be entered into a grand prize drawing.

Bookopoly Winter Reading Challenge - December-1-January-31
Bookopoly Winter Reading Challenge is available from December 1 to January 31 and open to all ages. A fun reading challenge based on the beloved game of Monopoly. Pick up (or print out) a game board to read your way around the Bookopoly board, collecting properties as you go! Earn badges for collecting all 3 properties within a category.
