Reading By Design

Adult readers ages 18 and up can complete a set of goals related to reading, technology, Safety Harbor & its history, and other fun tasks around town. Participants have a chance to win the grand prize Fitbit Blaze smartwatch and an assortment of fabulous prize packs. Prizes will be awarded based on successful completion. Register for the program by picking up a contest packet at the Answers Desk starting June 5 or sign up online and we will email you the program guide packet. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Great American Solar Eclipse

Monday, August 21, 2:00pm

On August 21, a total solar eclipse will be viewable across the United States in a path from Oregon to South Carolina, the first such occurrence since 1918. If you can’t make it north to the path of totality, join us at the Waterfront Park to view the partial eclipse, which will reach 81.1% maximum obscuration at 2:49 p.m. We will be passing out free eclipse viewing glasses for safe viewing!
